Iyo SALT - November 2010

Iyo SALT course, Madang Province, PNG, November 12 - 27, 2010

For two weeks, four Papuan New Guinean instructors led upwards to 80 people in the Iyo language group to become better acquainted with who God is, who they are, and what it means to be a Christian. Using the translated Scriptures, the participants engaged in 19 half-day sessions on the essential truths of the faith. By the end, even the trained pastors in the group, were excited about the things they were learning.

Lives were searched, tears shed, reconciliation enacted, and God was praised. It was really cool to see some of our Iyo friends use the Iyo New Testament, come alive in the Lord and resolve to use their new found fervor with others in the group who had not there. Pray with us that the seeds planted during the SALT course will bear fruit in many lives for the glory of God.
