Translating God's Word

Translating the SALT material into a people group's heart language is always a challenge, which takes many hours of hard work and concentration. Here John is seen translating the material for the Aiyugam SALT course. Although he has been working for several months on this project, in a final push, John worked all night Friday until 5am in the morning and then until 10pm Saturday night to finish the first draft of 19 SALT lessons. This first draft will now be consultant checked, edited and revised before the material is printed for the Aiyugam SALT course. Praise God for the dedication of national translators like John who have dedicated their lives to the service of our Lord.
