World Wide SU Consultation

From March 27 – 31 Wycliffe Bible Translators hosted a World Wide Scripture Use Consultation (WWSUC) in Horsleys Green, England. The purpose of this conference was to share ideas and find the best strategies for promoting the use of Mother Tongue Scriptures around the world. Attendees to the conference represented 29 different organizations and came from 37 countries. Three people from Papua New Guinea (Danny DeLoach, Carol Jean Gallagher and Badi Vila) were present at the WWSUC and gave a presentation about SALT . Badi Vila, who attended the Filifita SALT course, shared powerful stories about how the course had deeply impacted the Filifita church and community. Badi, Danny and Carol Jean explained the purposes of SALT and demonstrated how it could be carried out in other locations. Please pray that the impact of SALT can be repeated throughout many more countries of the world as a result of this presentation at the recent World Wide Scripture Use Conference.
